Purpose of Meeting
Water Resources Conservation & Planning Workshop: Understanding the policies, practices, and partnerships that guide water management in Indiana.
The Water Resources Conservation & Planning Workshop is a half-day educational event designed to bring together local officials, water utilities, conservation partners, planners, and community members to explore practical approaches to managing and protecting Indiana’s water resources. The workshop will address groundwater source water protection, statewide water policy and supply considerations, stormwater regulations and best management practices, and local watershed conservation initiatives. By connecting regulatory requirements, technical resources, and community-based implementation efforts, the event supports informed decision-making and strengthened coordination around water management at the local and regional level.
