Book ClubProgram Description
Event Details
Join us for Junior Book Club! We'll chat about the book and do some activities inspired by the story. Finishing the story before the meeting is strongly encouraged but in order to be an active participant we ask that your kid please read at least 1/2 of the book. Grownups, this goes for you too; we prefer grownups wait outside the meeting room but if you want to sit-in on book club you need to have read at least 1/2 the book too. At the conclusion of the program we'll pass out our next title.
We have three books this summer and we welcome kids to join us for any or all of them. These titles are selected with 9-12 year olds in mind but we recognize that you know you're kiddos better than we do so if they're a little outside that range and you all think it's a good fit please feel free to join in. A limited number of copies are available at the library for kids to keep (limit one per family, please). Additional copies may be requested through Evergreen or available online.
